About Sara Lundberg, NP
Sara began a scholastic career, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Ohio Wesleyan University, in Delaware, Ohio. She then went on to earn her Master of Arts in Literacy from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UMass Boston and her Master of Science in Nursing from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Sara believes in caring for a person as a whole and she loves the connection she has with her patients. She feels that having her Master’s degree in teaching allows her to convey the message of health and prevention to her patients in a way that they can learn from and understand. Doing so allows her patients to understand the complexities of healthcare and feel listened to.
She spent many years in the ER as a nurse, prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. She loves family medicine for the connection that she’s able to have with those that she cares for, rather than only seeing them on their worst days.
Sara was inspired to return to her studies in nursing by her grandfather who at the end of his life encouraged her to return to medicine.
When not at work she loves skiing, hiking, gardening and polishing up on being a better cook.

It is a pleasant environment, very seldom have to wait. All the providers are smart and know what they are doing, friendly, courteous. My only complaint is that it takes forever to get through on the phone. I am usually not calling for something I can do on My chart. if I could do I would not call!!!
I called early asked for an appointment and was scheduled 10:45 that morning. The NP was very personable and helpful. She made a great effort to make sure I felt better.

Sara is a phenomenal holistic practitioner who pulls all the puzzle pieces together ..actively listens to what I'm saying with direct eye contact ( vs the computer ) ..and engages me into thinking and acting upon new methods to improve my over all well being . Nurse Practitioner Ms. Sarah Lundberg is an asset to South Coast Health as she is up to date on all the latest health issues in clients and how to treat them. When I was seen by Ms Lundberg I tested positive for COVID while at the same time I was tested positive for the Nurovirus and that was what I referred to as the double whammy. South Coast health is fortunate to have an employee with her knowledge working for them.
I was treated with respect and I felt the whole office cared about my health.

Talked about options to keep my cholesterol low
I was happy with everything and the second to last question I wanted a 10 and somehow it came up a zero but it should have been a 10 and there was one other question but everything they are fantastic they are they're really good and I have no complaints.
This was hit my primary Dr. my primary is amazing and I've been seeing her for about 20 years. The person I saw on Friday was awful. She didn't listen to me and refused to give me an antibiotic. Instead she told me to drink tea with honey. I am extremely disappointed in my experience with her and will never ever see her again. Because of her I got sicker every day and couldn't go to work. ( I have 4 jobs) she and the medical assistant need to be retrained in throat cultures since I was told by both of them the assistant wasn't any good at taking them. I called 2 days later begging for antibiotics and again was denied. The office had no problem taking my co-pay and my blue cross as payment while I got worse every day with a fever spiking so bad I had to waste more money at the walk in clinic.
