About Rachel Finney, NP
Rachel Finney started her medical education at Brockton Hospital School of Nursing where she received her diploma in nursing. From there she furthered her medical expertise, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Southern New Hampshire University, and a Master of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University in Addison, Illinois.
Rachel’s personal philosophy of care revolves around treating the whole person holistically, not just as a condition. She strongly believes in helping each patient achieve their personal goals and promote overall well-being. Her background working in Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine piqued her interest in cardiology.
When not at work, Rachel spends her time with her family, at the beach, doing yoga, and skiing on the mountain.

took time to listen to my concerns about past meds
All staff very friendly and compassionate. Explained everything in detail. Listened to my concerns and proposed a game plan that would coincide with my health history.
I am a new patient. I was in Charlton hospital and I was treated remarkably. The doctors, nurses and food staff were incredible. I am so glad I found a wonderful place. I am staying with southcoast. Five stars all the way!!
I was seen promptly. Rachel was attentive, easy to talk to, and seemed very knowledgeable. She was thorough and spent a lot of time listening to my concerns. Overall, she was wonderful and I would highly recommend her!

Everyone in the office was extremely courteous and welcoming. The front desk was great. The nurse that came into the room to set me up to do my EKG was excellent and especially the nurse practitioner, she was fantastic. Thank you.
The office staff is phenomenal, I was very impressed with the staff.Rachel Finney was the best. She asked several questions that really helped to diagnose the problem. At the end of the appointment, I met with the employee who schedules lab work, other appointment, etc. and I have to say she was exceptional - she took the time to schedule my blood work and also scheduled the cardiac catheterization for me. While she was doing this, there were four telephone calls and she was very polite to each caller and asked them if they could hold the call.
