Nicole Rico, FNP-C, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts.
She chose to focus on primary care as it allows her to form relationships with her patients while gaining extensive knowledge of a variety of illnesses and health concerns.
At work, Nicole prioritizes creating a safe and supportive environment for her patients, and encourages them to openly share their health concerns, without fear of judgement.

Everything was explained. I was asked if I had any questions. I was told that if at anytime I don't feel well, call rather than going to urgent care

Nicole was really nice, respectful, listened, dealt with my complicated situation with care and thoughtfulness, and I think made really good decisions. She also followed up twice as promised. The facilities are a big change for us, old mill with lots of corridors to get where you're going, but it's clean and the people at Southcoast are very nice, and good at what they do, and that's most important.
I consider myself blessed to have met with Nicole. I don't ever remember being as sick as I was for the apt. Nicole was thorough, went into great detail about my condition and arrived at a plan going forward. I really appreciated her time and effort.
