About Natasha Martin, NP
Natasha earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Massachusetts At Boston. She then went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Simmons College. She returned to the University of Massachusetts Boston to earn her Master of Science in Nursing.
Her want to improve access to care was a part of her inspiration of wanting to become an Advanced Practice Practitioner. She feels that a patient being able to have a provider that looks like them improves health outcomes, especially for patients of color. She believes in treating her patients with the same attention and care that she would expect to receive for herself and her family.
She likes to meet patients where they are, helping them make sustainable changes that will fit into their life. She loves to get to know her patients and hear about their work life, home life, and their families.
Natasha chose to practice Medical Weight Management because it’s an opportunity to improve so many aspects of a patient’s health. The profound and positive changes that it brings to her patients is very rewarding.
When not at work, Natasha enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and reading. She enjoys working with her daughter’s dance studio, promoting dance as a form of expression for all children.
To her, Southcoast Health means having the ability to increase access to care in her community.

Yes, and Natasha listened to everything that I was talking about very, very closely. And Natasha is a very, very, very good doctor and I'm glad I have her for a provider. She asks all the right questions. I gave her hopefully all the right answers. Anyway, she's awesome. Thank you. I guess I'll just keep them the whole time.

I always feel listened to and understood when I see my Dr/PA they are both professional and when I ask questions they always answer my questions. If I don't understand something I'll ask and they go into detail to help me understand. I feel very safe and cared for by both of them. Today was a good day. I was a bit down when I went in but Natasha had me laughings she really brightened by say! She really enjoys her job, I could tell! They are both a true asset to the your firm.

The provider I had today, as last visit as well, her name is NATASHA MARTIN at Southcoast Health General Surgery - Bariatric Medicine, she is an amazing provider! I absolutely love her. She never rushes, always takes her time in the room with me and always makes sure everything is working out well for me. She truly cares about her patients. I rate her way over 10 if I could. Thank you for having her in your practice and please keep her there because I will follow her wherever she goes. She's the best!

Everything went well, I had a chance to express all of my concerns, and was heard. Which is most important to me.
My appointment by phone was very important because of ongoing issues with my weight loss prescription. The Dr was been well aware of prescription shortages and has been working on getting it to me. Our discussion was on that she was doing everything in her power to insure I will receive the medication. We also talked about any side effects and assured me that I'm only a phone call away.
