About Christopher Robertson, MD
Dr. Robertson graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, before completing medical school at the University of Calgary in Alberta.
He completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and completed several post-graduate fellowships at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Ontario. He also completed a master’s degree in medical science, with a focus on ACL surgery while at the University of Toronto during this time.
A fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, he is also a member of the Canadian Orthopedic Association and Canadian Association of Sports Medicine. With more than 17 years of experience in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. Robertson is trained to care for and identify all forms of injuries of the musculoskeletal system, including joints, tendons, ligaments, muscles and bones. He has a specific interest in sports medicine and shoulder arthritis and is Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Robertson has served in several positions with professional and collegiate sports teams, including six years as a team physician for North Dakota State University’s women’s basketball team. He continues to be a member of the medical team providing support to the Canadian national alpine ski team.
In his spare time, Dr. Robertson enjoys sailing, skiing, hockey, squash and tennis, among other outdoor activities. He speaks French as a second language.

Dr. Robertson did surgery on my right rotator cuff in 2019 and it was very successful and I've been fully functional ever since. I trust the surgery on my left roarer cuff will be as successful. He's a great guy as well.

Dr Robertson listened to my explanation of what was going on with my knee. Explained the issues and path forward to improve very clearly. Took the time to explain why I was having issues with my knee even going back to a repair I had when I was 15 and how it could possible be contributing to my current issue.He was fantastic and will have no issues seeing him again or referring him to others .
The check in staff were great and as always Dr Robertson asked, listened and scheduled a timely follow up appointment
Everyone in this office was extremely polite and very helpful and kind. The person taking my x-rays had the best personality!! Dr. Robertson was extremely supportive and I asked him questions to which he explained right away to clarify how arthritis is described. He was a very nice man.
