About Peter Cohn, MD
Dr. Peter Cohn is an Invasive Cardiologist at Southcoast Health and the Physician-in-Chief of Cardiovascular Care.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Rutgers Medical School. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, R.I., and a fellowship in cardiology at the UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Mass.
Dr. Cohn is an invasive cardiologist who performs diagnostic cardiac catheterizations as well as pacemaker and defibrillator implants in the Interventional Cardiology Department at Southcoast.
He is board certified in cardiology and is certified by the Heart Rhythm Society for device implants.

The provider is great, but the waiting once I was at the office was horrendous.
Dr Cohn knew everything about my recent admission. He explained everything to me in a way that I could understand and gave me time to ask questions without making me feel rushed. He is a professional and caring doctor. Southcoast is lucky to have him on their staff.
