It was a pleasure to meet Dr. first visit with her she was very nice and made me feel very comfortable, like I knew her a long time. Good choice South Coast hiring people like her.
Dr. Mayans was very thorough, treatment was explained in detail and she guided me to the consideration of what is the best overall plan due to the many different problematic issues. She allowed me to talk about my concerns with being treated by different specialists and what steps to work on first. I appreciated how she respected what I had to say.
All of our health concerns were addressed and an ultra sound was requested. We felt like we were in good hands.

First time patient of Dr Kate Mayans. Took a lot of time listening and investigating my long medical history online. Asked great questions. Overall, I was positively impressed. The staff was great as well in taking a copy of my proxy and ordering my last 3 years of medicals from my prior carrier. And I was able to get blood work done immediately.

Dr. Mayan is the first doctor I've had in 25 years that sees me as a person not just a number to push thru the door and get to the next one. She is very proactive with my health. She listens, hears me and answers all my questions and concerns. she takes the time necessary for what is being addressed and not hurry thru to make a daily quota. I wish I had found her 20 years ago. Every Southcoast facility I have been to so far has been a very good experience.
I got my appointment the same day, called, and brought in there the same day. I was very impressed.
My provider, Dr. Kate Myons, was fantastic. Everything was lovely. The one possible comment about the process was there was a very long time in order to make an initial appointment. There was a, it was initially described as a 12 to 24 month waiting list, which was kind of ridiculous. But again, my provider was great and the service was excellent.
This was not my regular doctor. My regular doctor was away, but she was very caring and listened very well and very attentive. Thank you.
