About Stephanie Lawrence, MD
Dr. Stephanie Lawrence earned her Doctor of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency at University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA. She is a board certified pediatrician and has loved caring for her pediatric patients and seeing them grow. She has 3 young children of her own and appreciates the complexities of caring for children. She is also a board certified internal medicine doctor and believes in providing patient centered and family centered care that addresses every patient and every family’s unique needs.
She has a special interest in caring for Youth with Special Healthcare Needs (YSHCN). She spent 5 years in Ohio working for Ohio State University building a clinic that supported YSHCN as they transitioned to adulthood. Dr. Lawrence cares immensely for her patients and takes the time and energy to make sure each patient feels that. It gives her great satisfaction to help people heal and stay healthy.
When not at work, Dr. Lawrence likes to swim, run and spend time with her family.

My visit was thorough and Dr. Lawrence made me feel very comfortable and took her time going over everything clearly with me. It was great not being rushed through the visit.

At these time everything as fine
I would like to make this very clear. Dr. Stephanie Lawrence is perhaps the best primary care physician I've had in the many years that I've been a South Coast Health patient and I've had good ones in the past. I've been very very happy with doctors in my care all the way from the hospital to the individual nurses but I want to say today I was at the doctor's office for a wellness check and Dr. Lawrence as always is very warm and personable and welcomes you and puts you at ease so you can answer questions and think clearly and she's always looking for ways to improve their health or to work on a situation you might have. She comes up with new ideas and is very proactive. I can't say enough about her so thank you for hiring her and hopefully there are more doctors like her.
