About Stephanie Lawrence MD
Dr. Stephanie Lawrence earned her Doctor of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency at University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA. She is a board certified pediatrician and has loved caring for her pediatric patients and seeing them grow. She has 3 young children of her own and appreciates the complexities of caring for children. She is also a board certified internal medicine doctor and believes in providing patient centered and family centered care that addresses every patient and every family’s unique needs.
She has a special interest in caring for Youth with Special Healthcare Needs (YSHCN). She spent 5 years in Ohio working for Ohio State University building a clinic that supported YSHCN as they transitioned to adulthood. Dr. Lawrence cares immensely for her patients and takes the time and energy to make sure each patient feels that. It gives her great satisfaction to help people heal and stay healthy.
When not at work, Dr. Lawrence likes to swim, run and spend time with her family.

Dr Lawrence was extremely nice! She took great care of me! However, there was a mix up with my prescription and it was not addressed in a timely manner
Stephanie Lawrence treated me with respect and upmost compassion.She treated me like I was her only patient and was very interested and thorough in discussing my goals and my plan. She has always cheerful and patient allowing me to ask questions and receive comprehensive feedback. Stephanie Lawrence is an asset to South Coast. And Swansea family care and I would recommend her. Dr Lawrence was informed and up to date on my file. Dr Lawrence uses all the resources available to her and makes it easy for me to use them as well. Dr Lawrence is a terrific listener and a talented communicator. Her energy and encouraging attitude makes her one of the best if not the best practitioner at SOUTHCOAST Swansea.

Dr. Lawrence is the absolute best physician I have ever had/worked with. She listens, understands and offers a tremendous amount of important or useful information regarding my health and how I can improve it. She is also generous with other resources to further improve my health goals outside of the office.

Everyone in the office were great, treated with respect, and Dr Lawrence listened to my questions and responded with care, the lab tech was wonderful as was the nurse who gave me my tetanus vaccine, I still have no pain!!
