About Catherine Cioe, PA-C
Catherine’s medical education started at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. She then went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island. After that, she completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI.
Catherine’s philosophy of care is to treat patients with the same time and dedication that she would invest into the people closest to her. She tries to understand the patient’s individual goals because it is different for each person. She takes the time to explain different conditions to patients because it is important to their overall health and wellbeing.
Catherine has experience in internal medicine and orthopedics. Her clinical interests include knee and sports medicine injuries. Outside of work, she enjoys running and going to the beach.

All was done well!
Catherine is one of the best practitioners I have ever met. She has been there for me prior to my surgery, during the actual surgery and now post surgery. I ask lots of technical questions about my knee and recovery and Catherine takes the time to explain everything to my satisfaction. I wish more providers seem to care as much as Catherine does. Shes amazing!

I've already told Cathy Cioe, the provider, how much I appreciate the skill with which she targeted the area of my pain. The cortisone injections have made me feel five or more years younger.
Everything was explained well & my questions were answered in an easy to understand manner. It was a pleasant experience & everyone in the office was friendly. Catherine Cioe was especially friendly & professional.I do wish that I could get cortisone injections in the Middletown office since it would be much more convenient.
I am very at ease at my appointments. Front desk receptionists are always very efficient and extremely polite. Catherine always remembers little personal things about me and it makes you feel like she cares about you as an individual She thoroughly explains things at every appointment.

Everyone in this office, from the secretary to the PA and those doing the fitting for the knee brace, were cordial, professional, and pleasant. There is a wonderful team feeling among this group that shows in the way they work together for their patients. Would recommend this ortho to anyone.

upon walking in to get to my appointment, the front desk staff were kind and warm. When being brought back by support staff, they were also just as kind and pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed my appointment and I enjoyed working with Catherine too. She made sure I was well informed on my diagnosis and made sure I left my appointment with no confusion and a clear understanding. I am so pleased to have been treated by an amazing team!

Ms. Cioe is so knowledgeable, empathetic, and truly a pleasure to deal with. She is a tremendous asset to the practice! The rest of the staff was very helpful and efficient also. The new office in Fall River was expansive, but it was difficult to find parking and it was a very long walk to the office. It I was still having knee trouble, it would have been a terrible ordeal.
