Dr. Chesney is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics and is on the medical staff at Hospital St. Luke's in New Bedford.
Dr. Chesney received his medical degree from the Penn State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pa. He completed a combined residency program in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where he also served as chief resident.
He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians.

My experience from beginning to end to visit to see Dr. Chesney was outstanding! The receptionist I spoke with on the phone to get my appointment, the young lady at Dr. Chesney 's check in / out receptionists were all personable and very nice, A welcomed trait that has become scarce nowadays. Dr. Chesney as always was fantastic, he's a wonderful provider that we're fortunate to have.

It is great to walk into this clean,quiet,well lit, staffed outer office - It's awesome to know that Dr Chesney is 99.98% on time, every time, the medical assistants are friendly - having the lab in Fhvn is so helpful - and again, the lab technicians are so friendly - It's really a treat to go for an appt at 208 Mill Rd -

Dr. Chesney is an incredible doctor and person who truly cares about his patients. I always get a response from him anytime I send him a message. I have never had a doctor that shows so much concern or compassion for a patient. I tell everyone I know about the exceptional care he provides. I hope he never retires.
My appt was exactly on time, and was asked all the right questions about my health and beyond. Ex : I was asked and given a flu shot, and a blood test which I had not realized I needed prior to going to appt.
