About Courtney Bailey FNP-BC
Courtney Bailey, FNP-BC obtained her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island.
She began her career at Southcoast Health as a registered nurse in the emergency department, later transferring her role into cardiology at Southcoast Health Heart & Vascular. She advanced her nursing career and became a nurse practitioner in cardiology before transitioning to Southcoast Health Otolaryngology (ENT).
Courtney was inspired to become a nurse practitioner because she wanted to take on a more active role in patient care, including diagnosing and managing conditions, while continuing to provide compassionate, patient-centered care. Her role allows her to combine both clinical decision-making skills with building meaningful relationships with her patients.
She values helping patients with concerns related to hearing, breathing, and communication and finds it rewarding to provide care that patients can experience and appreciate in their everyday lives.
Her philosophy of care is centered on delivering high-quality care that promotes prevention, early intervention and long-term wellness while recognizing each patient’s unique values, goals, and circumstances. She prioritizes building strong, trusting relationships with her patients through attentive listening, open communication, and collaborative decision making. She prides herself in ensuring that each patient feels heard, respected, well informed, and confident in their care.
When not at work, Courtney enjoys staying active and prioritizing wellness and healthy living. She especially enjoys playing tennis and pickleball and spending time outdoors walking with her dog.

The person who assisted me was the doctor's nurse, and she, like the doctor, is excellent, an excellent person, extraordinary, disciplined, and very professional.
