Acerca de Sonia Seng MD
La Dra. Seng es la directora del Programa de Ensayos Clínicos para el tratamiento del cáncer, a través del cual los pacientes oncológicos locales tendrán acceso a tratamientos nuevos y en desarrollo. La Dra. Seng tiene una amplia experiencia en investigación clínica centrada en la búsqueda de nuevos tratamientos de quimioterapia contra el cáncer.
La Dra. Sonia Seng se licenció en medicina en el Albany Medical College de Albany (Nueva York) y realizó una residencia en medicina interna-pediatría en la Facultad de Medicina Mount Sinai de Nueva York. La Dra. Seng también completó una beca en hematología y oncología médica en Mount Sinai.
Nativa de Nicaragua, la Dra. Seng investigó la disponibilidad de cuidados paliativos para pacientes con cáncer avanzado en Managua. Habla español con fluidez.
El Dr. Seng está colegiado en medicina interna y es miembro de la Sociedad Americana de Oncología Clínica.

Dr Seng and the entire team were excellent in my treatment and diagnosis of the various complications I had. I feel that they cared about me and all had a personal stake in my recovery. From the NP's, the RN's in the infusion room and the office staff all were professional, sincere and caring.
The staff has always been considerate of my issues. They ask good questions and include my responses before coming to a decision as to what is best for me. I am very comfortable with my doctor.
The Charlton Cancer center has one of the best caring providers they make you feel extremely comfortable. From the check in to the check out everyone there treats you with the up most common courtesy. I am so grateful to have Dr. Seng and her team on my side. No stone is un turned.
