About Michelle Wong, DO
Michelle Wong, D.O. earned her medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Greensburg, PA. Having previously spent time in New England as a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and Smith College, following medical school she came back to New England to complete residency in internal medicine at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, MA, where she also served as Chief Internal Medicine Resident. She is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
Dr. Wong has clinical interests in general gastroenterology. Her personal philosophy to practicing medicine is applying evidence-based medicine but with a personalized approach, and customizing society-recommended treatment plans that are unique to each patient’s circumstances and preferences.
In her free time, Dr. Wong enjoys wildlife animal rehabilitation, rowing/coxing, and karaoke.

I've been seeing Doctor Wong for a couple years now, and find her to be one of the best doctors I've ever had. She takes the time to make sure I understand exactly what my state of health is, and takes the time to advise me on exactly what I need to do to regain health and remain healthy. What I'm most impressed with is that her care and concern for my health has a long term focus. So many doctors today get caught up in resolving issues of immediacy as a "one and done" encounter while ignoring the long range opportunities available to help patients. I feel like Doctor Wong has a way more holistic and pragmatic approach to medicine that has helped me immensely; for which I am truly grateful.

Excellent experience always with Dr Wong. Today she explained how interaction of a new diabetic medication would be contraindicated with my GI condition so clearly in a way that it could be easily understood. She is an excellent patient advocate
