I called 2 days ago asking if I could possibly see someone earlier than my scheduled appointment. I was given an appointment for today. Yesterday, I received a call from Aaron Novy's office informing me of a cancellation with him. I was thrilled and impressed by the efficiency of your staff.

That's great. I had an MRI today done at Shields MRI in Dartmouth. And almost unbelievably, the result had already been sent over to Aaron Novy at South Coast Neurosurgery. He knew all about it. He looked up the screen and now he coordinated x-rays and further appointments with the specialist. So excellent job all around, folks. Excellent job.
Dr. Novy is always supportive in my care, whether it's a follow-up from surgery or continued care. He explains and shows me test results, if any, and we discuss the next steps, if any. All of the staff I see or speak to in neurosurgery are always attentive and kind. I've had many people ask why I don't go to Boston for my medical care. Why would I, when I am receiving such good care close to home?

Aaron's great. Makes me feel comfortable. Explains things clearly and in a manner that is easy to understand. Ask permission to touch me for examination, explaining where and why physical contact was needed. Aaron is an excellent provider.

This was my first time seeing this doctor to find out results of my MRI ordered from a different doctor but he explained everything to me. Certain things that I was worried about or didn't understand he explained them to me which was great because a lot of doctors that I have seen in the past pretty much just tell you the results or what needs to be done but they don't want to hear what you have to say or what you're worried about or concerned and just doctor took the time to explain everything to me and reassure me like I said doctors that I have seen in the past don't do that when you try to talk to them it's pretty much they tell you what you want to hear just to get you out of there
I was seen in a timely manner as usual. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and explains solutions in an easy to understand way.
