- Vaccines up to date
- Vision & hearing checks
- School and sports forms completed

Sleep Sets the Tone
Children who get enough sleep are better able to learn, focus and manage emotions.
- Recommended Sleep:
- Preschool: 10–13 hours
- School-age: 9–12 hours
- Teens: 8–10 hours
- Dr. Kenyon’s Tip: Start moving bedtime earlier about two weeks before school starts.
Pack for Success
Build lunches with:
- Lean protein
- Fruits & vegetables
- Whole grains
- Water instead of sugary drinks
Healthy Habits Matter
Teach children to:
- Wash hands often
- Cover coughs and sneezes
- Stay home when sick
