Treating Diabetes with Compassion and Care

Diabetes is a condition that affects how your body uses glucose or blood sugar. When you have diabetes, it means that you have high blood glucose or too much sugar in your blood. Let our expert endocrinologists help you with:

  • Type 1 diabetes — Formerly known as juvenile diabetes, this type occurs when the pancreas produces little or no insulin.
  • Type 2 diabetes — This type of diabetes affects how the body processes blood sugar. Those who have family history of diabetes, are overweight, obese or eat a high-calorie diet are more at risk for developing Type 2 diabetes.
