About Zachary Zanfes , DO
Zachary obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. He earned his Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics with studies in Complementary and Alternative Medicine from the Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC. He then obtained his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine Curriculum from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee.
He completed an internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and completed his medical residency in Internal Medicine at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon.
Zachary has proudly served in the United States Navy as a diving medical officer.
Regarding patient care, he believes in patient-centered care and working collaboratively to achieve desired clinical outcomes. He focuses on disease prevention and practicing evidence-based medicine that is in line with the patients’ goals. He enjoys building long term relationships with his patients and helping them navigate the healthcare system.
When not at work, he enjoys biking, a good cup of coffee, making sourdough bread, and traveling.
