About Zachary Zanfes DO
Zachary obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. He earned his Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics with studies in Complementary and Alternative Medicine from the Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC. He then obtained his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine Curriculum from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee.
He completed an internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and completed his medical residency in Internal Medicine at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon.
Zachary has proudly served in the United States Navy as a diving medical officer.
Regarding patient care, he believes in patient-centered care and working collaboratively to achieve desired clinical outcomes. He focuses on disease prevention and practicing evidence-based medicine that is in line with the patients’ goals. He enjoys building long term relationships with his patients and helping them navigate the healthcare system.
When not at work, he enjoys biking, a good cup of coffee, making sourdough bread, and traveling.

Provided me with medication to help deal with the nerve pain. He discussed the nature of the illness in a way I could understand. I would recommend him as a highly skilled doctor!!

So happy to have found Dr. Zanfes' practice , I felt he cared about me as a patient as he took the time to look at me when he spoke. The visit was very productive and I am very happy to be welcomed into a practice with a thoughtful doctor and staff! When I checked out I was acknowledged as a new patient and welcomed to the practice!

The wait in the lobby was non existent but the wait time in the exam room was longer than expected, but wasn't a problem overall. The nurse was wonderful and I really like my Dr. Zanfes. Maybe add a small table on the wall to stash things like phones, keys, glasses, etc.
My Physician retired after having him many, many years. But I am so glad I found Dr Zanfes who addresses any issues I have, always listens, friendly, & young so I will have him for a long time. Very caring doctor.
