About Timothy Byon MD
Timothy Byon, MD earned his medical degree at De La Salle University College of Medicine, Dasmarinas, Cavite, Philippines, and completed his residency in family medicine at Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners in Grand Rapids, Mich. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Ca.
He previously practiced at the Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, AFC Urgent Care in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Mercy Health in Grandville, Michigan.
Dr. Byon is certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Physicians.
His interests include promotion of health and wellness and support for community outreach.

Excellent informative appointment
Dr. Byon always listens to all my concerns and remembers everything I have told him. He always addresses all of my issues, even if they are complex, and we may need to try several treatments until we find what works. He is the best doctor I have had.
Professional and courteous service
Dr. Byon is an amazing doctor. He is kind caring and professional. He has encouraged me and I am now up to date on all my referrals and vaccines. He always listens to my concerns and I feel like we make care decisions as a team. His entire staff has been excellent also.
This was my 1st visit with Dr. Tim and he was wonderful. He was thorough and asked lots of questions. He offered great medical advice and helped with establishing health goals. He walked me through healthy nutrition options and online health support. I was really impressed with Dr. Tim as he showed genuine concern for my well being.
I did not have to wait long. Dr addressed issues I had and set me up with an X-ray immediately after seeing him.

The staff was pleasant, patient, and informative. Appointment was on time.
Tim provides concierge level care and as he puts it, loves being the village doctor. I'm so impressed with his knowledge and patience and I haven't been in the hospital but bedside manner could not be more pleased.
I have no complaints. The team there was great, positive, and knowledgeable in their roles.
Dr.Byon , I had a 4 PM appointment with the doctor and he got to me at 12 with the time difference. I was able to get my prescription earlier and start the medication for that alone. I like to say thank you very much. He explained the medicine how to take it phone it into the pharmacy and my husband picked it up 2:30 in the afternoon. I'm feeling much better I could not have asked or hope for a better treatment.

From check in to check out with the administration very smooth. Dr Byon is exceptional and feel very comfortable talking with him. I look forward to my next appointment with Dr Byon and the team at SouthCoast.
The nurse and the doctor were very prompt in following up. I made a phone call and spoke to a nurse almost immediately. And the doctor called me back within an hour or two, and I was able to get my medication an hour or so after that. So the whole thing took maybe three hours, and I was treated for COVID, which is wonderful. So it was very prompt and very professional, and I appreciate it.
