About Sophia Rizk, MD
Dr. Rizk graduated from Tufts University and received her Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College. She completed her internship, residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine, followed by her fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. She is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Rizk belongs to a number of professional societies, including the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology and is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, Rhode Island Medical Society and American College of Physicians.
Dr. Rizk loves to share her skills through volunteer work, participating in numerous teaching roles at her alma mater Brown University, and by working on many published studies and papers. She is proficient in Spanish and Greek.

Yes, my doctor, Sophia Rizk, knew everything about me. She had dealt with all my labs. She told me my condition. She told me how I was doing and how, she explained to me, completely what was wrong with me and if there was any danger in my situation. So I was very thankful for that.
