About Marivyl Laxer MD
Dr. Laxer earned her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. She completed residencies in internal medicine at Makati Medical Center in the Philippines and at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Mass.
She also completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at Makati Medical Center, Philippines.
Dr. Laxer is board-certified in internal medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Bristol South Medical Society. Dr. Laxer is fluent in the Philippine language.

I was pleasantly greeted by the 1st person in the office, Dr Laxer listened, we discussed what was going on with my health. Dr Laxer has been my PCP for over 25 years and I've been very satisfied. When I was checking out the office staff were very professional and still friendly. My overall visit was great

Hello, yes, Dr. Laxer is a wonderful provider. She is positive, she's kind, she's caring, she's professional. She is just an excellent clinician and I enjoy having her as my primary and I hope I can continue. She's very difficult to get in to see. For my next visit, I think I have to wait past my usual month of September when I see her, but hopefully I will be able to see her again in September. So I am very positive about Dr. Laxer. She is a wonderful clinician. Thank you.

I called and got an appt didn't wait long in the waiting room. I got called in pretty quick. I had a nurse that took the blood pressure and heat rate very nice young lady. Then about 4 or 5 minutes the doctor came in checked my foot thoroughly and advise me to ice it and also sent me for an x ray. I should know how my x rays are in a couple of days when the doctor get the report. This was the doctor covering for my doctor today she was very nice.
Booked an early morning appt, waited an hour from check in to the exam room to see the provider. Office was not busy, staff very laid back no sense of time urgency.

Dr Laxer wanted me to follow up with a chest x-ray. When I went to the clinic the next day, the orders were already there.

My physician saw me promptly and was prepared for my visit and understood what was going on with me. I arrived about 15min early. After 10 min I was told the Doctor was running at least 30 mi late; so we agreed that I had time to go vote and get back within that time frame. It worked out well.
