About Kevin Delahanty MD
Dr. Delahanty earned his bachelor’s degree from LeMoyne College before completing his medical degree at New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – Mercy’s Department of Medicine.
Dr. Delahanty served as a physician in the United States Navy for nearly three decades before retiring from active service in 2006 at the rank of Commander. He served on deployments overseas in Spain and Kuwait during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He has been happily married to Joan Howley for 16 years and has two teenage daughters, Emma and Lily. Out of the office his interests include literature, baseball, hiking, skiing, and traveling.

Dr. Delahanty listens and explains everything very descriptively to me and I appreciate the time spent when I see him. The nurses and receptionist are all very nice as well.

Dr. Delahanty is the best!! After being seen in the ER this past weekend and being dismissed and spoken down to it was a breath of fresh air to see him today. He addressed all of my concerns, was very caring and attentive, and explained things in a way that made me understand and feel seen and respected. Thank you very much

Dr. Delahanty was wonderful. That was his last appointment of the day. He took lots of time with me, didn't make it feel rushed at all. He knew everything about, he was pulling it all up and reading it and had read about my previous health and I'm just very impressed. I find him incredibly thorough and very, very caring. I recommend him to everybody I know for a primary care physician.

Dr. Delahanty is an outstanding primary care physician. He is very thorough when examining me. He clearly explains what he's doing and why. He asks good questions and he invites me to ask him any questions that I have. He is quick when sending out referrals and prescriptions. He's the best primary care provider I've ever had. I hope he never retires!
