About John Carroll, MD
Dr. Carroll is co-Chief of Urology for Southcoast Hospitals.
He earned his Medical Degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. He completed an internship and residencies in Surgery and Urology at New England Medical Center in Boston, where he served as chief resident in Urology.
He has special interest and expertise in urologic oncology, urolithiasis and pediatric urology and women’s incontinence. He has extensive experience in laparoscopic urology procedures.
He is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Urology at Tufts University School of Medicine where he has received an “Excellence in Teaching” award.
He is a diplomat of the American Board of Urology and a member of the American Urological Association.

Dr Carroll is awesome, knowledgeable and a great personality that allows him to easily relate to his patients. I am very happy and grateful to have him as my urologist!!
The staff and doctor Carroll were absolutely superb! We had a few issues (elderly mom) who had to use the restroom and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and professional! Much thanks to them!!! Doctor Carroll was very knowledgeable and caring with excellent care!!

Dr Carroll explained in detail what I was questioning. He was really concerned and went over my records in full with explanations of my previous findings. He made me feel comfortable that if I ever need to be seen he will always be there for me and should I need testing to just call the office so they can put it in the system

Dr Carroll is an exceptional physician. I have known him for many years having worked with him when he came to Saint Anne's. So when I needed to see a urologist for an issue I was having he was my choice. Dr Carroll and his staff have been fantastic!

My entering into the building, I had assistance and my checking in went smoothly with the front desk staff. The only thing I can of is when you see your client being dropped out with a transportation van , and your are running late on , your clients being seem , just let them know , so they can reschedule pickup time.

Dr John Caroll always listens to me when I'm trying to explain how much pain and where I have it, so he recommended couple tests to find out the route cause

I waited over an hour to be seen by Dr. Carroll. Shorter wait time would be something they should aim for at this practice. Three patients had the same appointment time as I for the same provider.

I really love this office.The only thing i didnt like is check out . I was standing there at check out for 5 minutes and the lady wont knowledge me she was typing on the computer. Lease look at me and say i will be right with you. Very uncomfortable. She needs to learn to communicate with people. Would she like it if she was treated like that?????

Straight from when I walk in, the staff at the front greet you friendly. Right from when you walk in to when you get inside the office, not the office, when the nurses take you in to the back room. I needed assistance with helping me in the bathroom. I needed those little hat things. They helped me with that. No problems. Friendly, friendly staff. And Dr. Carroll is always pleasant, always smiling, goes through my x-rays with me, allows me to see, explains to me where the kidney stones are. Very outgoing and friendly.
