About Jessica Fisher, NP
Jessica Fisher received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Rhode Island College of Nursing in Kingston, Rhode Island.
Her inspiration to focus on family medicine and primary care derives from her history in inpatient nursing where she often cared for patients with end-stage chronic diseases.
Jessica believes in customizing treatments to meet each patient’s unique goals rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. She prioritizes addressing the underlying causes of illnesses to provide effective care and wants to work more independently to make a difference by focusing on the patient’s health.
Jessica believes it is important to form partnerships with her patients when it comes to their care. Her patients must first understand the benefits that come from taking better care of themselves, and that her role is to provide education, resources, and motivation to help them achieve their health goals.
To her, being at Southcoast Health is being a part of an organization that truly values its employees and healthcare providers. The empowerment and respect presented allows those at Southcoast to focus on providing the highest quality care and achieving results for patients.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time outdoors, practicing yoga, skiing, and spending time with her family.

It's nice when a provider is competent. It is exceptional when a very competent provider genuinely cares about the patient, as a person. Jessica is one of those exceptional providers. She is very good at what she does, and also takes the time to listen, and it shows that she cares. It is clearly not an act.The other person worth mentioning is [Name] [Name] in reception. She is professional, pleasant, and kind. She recognizes me when I walk in, and if I am checking in with her, she already has my information up on her screen by the time that I get to her desk. She always greets me with a warm and friendly smile. She is a pleasant person to interact with and a great customer-facing representative for the practice.
Jessica Fisher, NP was thorough, kind and Knowledgeable. She was not rushed and spent ample time with me to explain everything to me more than once. This was my first time meeting her and I was very pleased.
Making the appt was smooth and efficient, Jessica, provider was great. She asked tons of questions first. Consulted with another provider in the facility before making the diagnosis and plan to remedy.

The front desk personnel are fabulous. Warm welcoming and professional. The NP was knowledgeable and kind. In my experience over some time, my only suggestion would be to retrain the staff who gets you from the waiting room and who sees you before the doc comes in- Smile, give your name, be personable.
ALL WENT WELL AND I WOULD SEE THIS PERSON AGAIN IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.
