About Himesh Sheth MD
Dr. Himesh Sheth began his education at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in Dartmouth, Ma where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the Ross University School of Medicine in Mirimar, Florida. He is currently obtaining his MBA at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut and has completed his Nephrology Fellowship at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
His philosophy of care is to treat his patients as individuals and provide them care that allows them to attain the best quality of life and independence all while delivering healthcare that is up to date with the latest evidence and guidelines. He feels that being a physician is an extremely rewarding career where every day you have an opportunity to improve a patient’s health and quality of life.
He believes that Southcoast Health is an integral part of the community that provides excellent care to the community delivering beyond healthcare.
When not at work he enjoys spending time with his family, running, bike riding, and cooking.

Very pleasant, listened and explained very effectively.
They agreeably fit me in early, even though I arrived an hour early. Dr. Sheth has a phenomenal bedside manner and speaks in a way that answers my questions and I can understand. I need his office feeling like somebody has listened to me and made efforts to address my situation.

He walked into the room with a smile and introduced himself. He thoroughly explained my condition and answered my questions. When we finished we reviewed the information and pointed out each item we talked about and made sure I understood and answered my additional questions.
