Dr. Chesney is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics and is on the medical staff at Hospital St. Luke in New Bedford.
Dr. Chesney received his medical degree from the Penn State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pa. He completed a combined residency program in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where he also served as chief resident.
He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians.

Every time I go there, they take very good care of me. They're always very professional and always friendly, and they do a wonderful job. And I've never had an issue with them in all the years I've been going there. And Dr. Chesney is probably the best doctor I've ever seen, and he does an amazing job. The nurse I spoke to prior to my visit was very friendly, helpful, and patient. Dr. chesney listened carefully to my symptoms and was proactive in scheduling tests that will hopefully lead to a diagnosis of my medical issue.
This was an emergent visit. This was my 4th uti in 4 months. I called the urologist 1st, but she was in surgery, so they suggested i call my wonderful pup Dr chesney. I called, within 15 minutes I had an appointment because I was going away. I am so thankful for Dr Chesney as my pcp.
