About Charles Eil, MD
Dr. Eil holds a medical degree and Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Chicago. He completed a fellowship in endocrinology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Eil also completed a visiting fellowship in medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
A practicing endocrinologist for over three decades, Dr. Eil is a member of numerous professional societies, including the Diabetes and Endocrine Society of Rhode Island, of which he is president. Dr. Eil is also a retired Captain in the US Naval Reserve.
Dr. Eil is board certified in Internal Medicine and in the subspecialty of Endocrinology and Metabolism.
Charles speaks French.

Doctor and staff were extremely helpful in answering my questions
Dr. Eil has been my endocrinologist for several years now and always treats me with freindly respectful manner. His staff particularly his M.A [Name] is just the most down to earth and easiest person to talk with. They are an excellent group and I will never want to be forced out of his care.
This provider was patient, courtesy and so was the staff. They took the time to listen to me and answer my questions.

This office is the best. All are friendly, cheerful, helpful and treat me with respect. Dr Eil knows my history before he walks in the room. He listens to me, makes me feel comfortable and is very knowledgeable. No improvement necessary.

Dr Eil is an excellent physician. I don't like how Southcoast forces there drs to a timeline under the guise of "efficiency", but it's not the drs fault. you are lucky to have such great providers for your patients.

It was a pleasant experience
Dr. Eil has excellent bedside manner. Was attentive and understanding of my rare disability. Answered all questions in a clear and concise manner. Ordered appropriate tests for treatment, appreciated willingness to address health needs.All secretaries and the phlebotomist were kind & caring. My only complaint was that I arrived early for my appointment but was seen only after about 20 min in a room when doctor was with patient who was late to their appointment.
Always a pleasant experience. The office staff is always friendly and helpful. Dr Eil is extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant. He takes all the time you need to discuss issues. He shows concern and is truly cared about your health!

Everybody was so courteous and nice and polite and make you feel really comfortable and talk to you as if you're a real person and not just some dumb idiot or whatever. They explained things. It's been very warm and comfortable and I enjoyed going there again. Thank you very much.

I like Dr. Eil and he treated me for the problem I saw him for and when I mentioned a symptom of something not related to my visit he set up a test with the lab in a month to check my progress on what he is treating me for and also lab work to see what might be causing the other symptoms.
Dr. Eil was especially interested in helping me.
