About Joshua Costa NP
Joshua Costa earned his Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Fitchburg State University in Fitchburg, MA. He then furthered his medical expertise, earning is Masters of Nursing Science, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Regis College in Weston, MA. His clinical interests include emergency medicine, cardiology, and ear, nose, and throat.
Joshua’s personal philosophy of care is centered on treating, listening, and understanding his patients’ concerns in the same way that he would want someone that is caring for his family member to do. Joshua approaches each patient case in a holistic manner, treating and addressing every aspect of his patient’s overall health and wellbeing while viewing them as someone from his community who he can make a connection with and help in a time of need.
When not at work Joshua enjoys golfing, fishing, gardening, and woodworking.

Josh Costa is great. He's very friendly and personable.
Mr. Costa's examination seemed perfunctory and superficial. He seemed to focus only on the sufface level of my chief complaint while not investigating any further to find the underlaying cause. Apart from this, the facility itself and the rest of the staff seem completely fine, and I have no other issues.

I lost hearing in my right ear all of a sudden and needed to be seen. I called and the woman moved some things around and got me in right away. That was awesome !!!

My experience with the doctor and his staff was excellent.
After audiology test … i waited more than 25mins to be followed up with regarding the rest of my exam. Otherwise team was friendly, courteous, and informative.
The young woman who picked me up in the waiting room and delivered me to the exam room was fine, but not particularly friendly.
The provider wasn't very concerned with my problem just telling me to use another nasal spray on top of the one I already use and that he thought it was probably from the weather.
My script for my ear drops were never called into my pharmacy.
Time is efficient. All staff was friendly. Took the time to listen and explain things did not rush me or diminish my concerns.
Explanation of the the hearing test was easy to understand
I felt like the provider I saw didn't take the time to ask questions about my medical history and their diagnosis was made before they came into the room. I also felt they talked at me rather than have a conversation with me. I had to ask clarifying questions in order to understand what they were saying.
