Southcoast Health Welcomes Six Physicians and Two Advanced Practice Providers
Southcoast Health is pleased to announce that the not-for-profit community health system welcomed six new physicians and two advanced practice providers. They are joining the cardiology, family medicine, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedic surgery, otolaryngology (ENT) and urgent care specialties with one physician joining the hospitalist program.
Edith Antonio, MD obtained her Doctor of Medicine from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, NY. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Brown University/Women & Infant’s Hospital of Rhode Island. She now joins Southcoast Health Obstetrics & Gynecology seeing patients in New Bedford.
Courtney Bailey, FNP-BC | Otolaryngology
Courtney Bailey, FNP-BC obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI. She now joins Southcoast Health Otolaryngology (ENT) seeing patients in Dartmouth and Wareham.
Tori Calbo, NP obtained her Master of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmons University School of Nursing, College of Natural, Behavioral, and Health Sciences in Boston, MA. She now joins Southcoast Health Urgent Care caring for patients at all seven urgent care locations.
Katharine Cronk, MD, PhD | Neurosurgery
Katharine Cronk, MD, PhD obtained her Doctor of Medicine from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, NY. She completed her neurosurgical residency at Barrow Neurological Institute and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Pheonix, Arizona, followed by advanced fellowships in functional neurosurgery, complex and advanced spine techniques. She now joins Southcoast Health Brain & Spine seeing patients in Fall River and Dartmouth.
Bilal S. Khan, MD | Cardiology
Bilal S. Khan, MD obtained his Doctor of Medicine from The Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed fellowships in advanced cardiovascular imaging at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon, cardiology at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, and nephrology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he also served as Chief Fellow. He now joins Southcoast Health Heart & Vascular seeing patients in Dartmouth.
Ashish Singh, MD | Hospitalist
Ashish Singh, MD obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University, New Delhi, India. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Bronx, NY. He now joins Southcoast Health as a hospitalist caring for patients at all three hospitals.
Edward J. Testa, MD | Orthopedic Surgery – Shoulder and Elbow
Edward J. Testa, MD obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University in Medford, MA. He now joins Southcoast Health Orthopedics specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery and seeing patients in Fall River.
Rebecca Zapf-Pedraza, MD | Family Medicine
Rebecca Zapf-Pedraza, MD obtained her Doctor of Medicine from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. She now joins Southcoast Health Family Medicine seeing patients in Dartmouth.
