About Sara Charnecki, MD
Dr. Charnecki earned her medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Alaska Family Practice Residency Program, Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. She comes to Southcoast Health from Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she practiced as a Family Medicine Physician at the Alliance Urgent Care and Family Practice.
Her clinical interests include, women’s health, adolescent medicine, health maintenance, nutrition, and prevention.
Her personal interests include running, hiking, backpacking, camping, tennis, skiing, reading, quilting and traveling.

Dr. Charnecki is very attentive. She takes the time to listen to my concerns and she provides proper interventions and follow-up.
I always appreciate my provider's attempts at connecting to her patients by establishing solid rapport... I have significant medical anxiety and always feel relaxed when a provider takes their time with me and does not rush through our appointment. Although this may reflect poorly in a providers "efficiencies", it is deeply appreciated by their patients.

Dr. Charnecki had many records to read, interpret, and process as part of my overall medical history as I had both heart & kidney procedures since last seeing her. She took time to read all other doctors' notes and discuss these with me. She also brought me up to date on unrelated issues I had been neglecting, made necessary referrals, sent me for a complete blood work-up, ordered prescriptions I had run out of, and explained any medical terminology I did not fully understand on MyChart.In addition to her relaxed thoroughness, she is an excellent listener and a compassionate communicator.

Dr. Chanecki is perfect. I love going to her. My visits are always perfect. But the survey is great, but you ask too many. You don't have to tell us to press 10, then 1, and it gets too complicated and it's too long.

Very thorough and listen to all of my concerns.
Dr. Charnecki did a great job at explaining things and she listens and takes the time. So often you feel rushed and feel like hospital systems are just there for the money. But she didn't make me feel that way. She took the time to answer all of my questions and that is phenomenal for any healthcare system and is phenomenal for her.

Dr. Charnecki is an excellent doctor.
There should be height adjustable examination tables available for elderly patients, and patients with mobility issues. The present tables have very narrow step stools which make it difficult to get on and off. This presents a fall risk for patients.
Dr. Charnecki is the most pleasant and genuinely caring physician I have ever worked with. She is truly focused on the best interests of her patients. I have had to many encounters with disinterested doctors over the years who only care about themselves, I am thankful to finally have found a doctor who truly cares about me.
