About Kara Kopaczewski, DO
Kara Kopaczewski, DO received her Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Mo. She completed her residency in family medicine at Kent Hospital in Rhode Island. Dr. Kopaczewski was Chief Resident and was awarded Family Medicine Resident of the Year at Kent for 2015-2016 and 2017-2018.
She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the Rhode Island Association of Family Physicians and the Rhode Island Society of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Kopaczewski’s clinical interests include pediatrics, addiction medicine and women’s health. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting and crocheting, DIY crafts, reading mystery novels, cooking, baking, performing violin and playing
trivia. She is also an avid hockey fan.

First visit with new doctor .. took the time to go over my medical history and goals moving forward .. very pleasant demeanor
I was in the waiting area sitting down where I felt very unwell and nauseous and the secretary, when I told her I didn't feel well, there was a room I could lay down in, immediately got the MA, which came out in the waiting room and got me and put me in a room where I could lay down until I seen Dr. Kopaczewski, which I thought was amazing. I think their whole staff is amazing. So that's my feedback. Thank you.
My appointment with Dr K. was needed to get a release for cataract surgery. As always she was very thorough.
