About Heinrich-Karl (Karl) Greenblatt, MD
Karl Greenblatt, MD, a Massachusetts native, earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, Colorado, followed by a Rheumatology fellowship at the Brown University/Roger Williams Medical Center program in Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr. Greenblatt was drawn to rheumatology because it uniquely blends the science and the art of medicine. The field is fortunate to offer new and targeted therapies that can alleviate pain and dramatically improve quality of life, yet a rheumatologist still must navigate uncertainty and embrace a patient’s individuality.
His goal is to provide patients with an understanding of their conditions, empower them to take an active role in their care, and help restore function and happiness. He feels that teamwork is key to achieving this goal.
When caring for his patients, Dr. Greenblatt’s standard is to provide the sharpest diagnostic skills, knowledge of common and uncommon signs of rheumatic illness, and a strong understanding of evidence-based treatment. Even while striving for greatness, he hopes to bring a sense of humility and respect for the unknown.
When not at work, he enjoys playing guitar and loves watching the Red Sox.

Dr Greenblatt is my favorite specialist! He is very knowledgeable, explains everything to me and sees me as a person! He talks to me about the future and my present. He REALLY listens to me. The first time I saw him, he realized I had been misdiagnosed. By asking pertinent questions and really getting to know me - he knew what I had. He put me on the correct medication and I am doing so much better! I am so appreciative of him! And I told everyone about how awesome he is!

Dr Greenblast came into the visit sighting my health issues and the recent tests etc. He was fully aware of my situation, absolutely prepared to talk to me about what to do going forward. He is very kind and very gentle as well as prepared. The young lady who took my vitals was also genuinely nice. Very comforting, as I am always a little nervous.
I have never had any complaint with this office from the front desk checking in right to the Dr. always kind, always asking how I am doing. Dr is always on time and discusses things in a way I understand. They listen to me, answer any questions or concerns. I would definitely give a 5 + star rating.
This doctor is so willing to think outside of the box in a way that we need to do, for my unusual health issues. He has been so supportive, and my quality of life has been so improved since starting treatment with him.

Dr. Greenblatt hand reviewed my chart in advance, listened to my concerns, and presented alternatives for moving ahead. He was knowledgeable about the various medication opportunities/risks. We had a good discussion and he answered all my questions. I emailed him with questions afterward and he responded very promptly which I appreciate.

Dr was very inform and explained things made it easy to understand and the woman tha takes blood in lab was great I have a phobia of needles I didn't feel a thing very good
The first I I have seen this Dr I was very anxious but he was completely aware of all my past medical history and extremely well versed in all the new medications to treat my conditions and the adverse effects and was completely honest about everything. I was amazed how comfortable it was for a first visit. Excellent Physician.
Dr Greenblatt was the best Dr I have been seen by in a very long time. He understood my problem and hopefully found a way to help me out. He was kind he cared and I was able to understand everything he talked about.. He discovered things on my xrays that no other dr took the time to see and explain. He was the best.
The receptionist was welcoming, and I hardly sat before being called in by the med assist., who was very kind. We chatted as she went about her work which is always comforting to me having anxiety. There have been changes in this Rheumatology office that have had a negative effect on my thoughts about this office. I am working on getting back on track with the new physician in the office. Dr. Greenblat was kind, informed and helpful.
