About Francesca Friel NP
Francesca Friel started her medical education earning an Associate of Science in Nursing at Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania. She then furthered her medical expertise, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. Francesca then completed her Master in Science, Family Nurse Practitioner, at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, in Boston, Massachusetts.
Francesca’s personal philosophy of care is seeing and treating patients beyond their “chief complaint”. It is important to her to understand what situational factors are contributing to their current state, both good and bad. She has always had a deep respect for her healthcare providers throughout her life and they inspired her to choose the same field of work.
When not at work, she spends her time cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

from the person who checked me to the P.A. Francesca who removed my stitches, to the staffer who did the preliminary intake, all were professional, courteous, helpful and attentive. I could not have had a better experience.

Waited 20 minutes to go in exam room. Person who took me in was polite and asked how I was doing. Then I waited for nurse more time. She came in and said I was there for blood pressure check. She then said she would get me out quickly. Never asked about my recent Covid illness. She didn't seem to know anything about me at all. She was not prepared. I spent more time waiting to see her than I spent time with her.
I was extremely impressed by my doctor this appointment. Sharp as a tack, personable, knowledgeable and inquisitive.

I feel like the staff is always courteous and helpful when I visit this office. From check-in to check-out all the staff members are friendly, welcoming and attentive. Francesca in particular is one of the best providers I've ever seen. She puts me at ease if there is something I'm worried about, she listens to my concerns, and doesn't make me feel pressured to follow a plan I don't agree with. I feel well cared for and supported by her care.

Francesca always listens and uses information to make correct decisions on my health. I dont want to use any other doctor now after multiple visits with her and the high quality and consistent care she provides.
