About Francesca Friel, NP
Francesca Friel started her medical education earning an Associate of Science in Nursing at Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania. She then furthered her medical expertise, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. Francesca then completed her Master in Science, Family Nurse Practitioner, at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, in Boston, Massachusetts.
Francesca’s personal philosophy of care is seeing and treating patients beyond their “chief complaint”. It is important to her to understand what situational factors are contributing to their current state, both good and bad. She has always had a deep respect for her healthcare providers throughout her life and they inspired her to choose the same field of work.
When not at work, she spends her time cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

The NP listed to my concerns, listed back to me everything I needed and asked what I wanted. We talked about labs and made a plan to follow up with the testing. I left there knowing I was heard

I feel like the staff is always courteous and helpful when I visit this office. From check-in to check-out all the staff members are friendly, welcoming and attentive. Francesca in particular is one of the best providers I've ever seen. She puts me at ease if there is something I'm worried about, she listens to my concerns, and doesn't make me feel pressured to follow a plan I don't agree with. I feel well cared for and supported by her care.

Francesca always listens and uses information to make correct decisions on my health. I dont want to use any other doctor now after multiple visits with her and the high quality and consistent care she provides.

No wait at all. Francesca couldn't have been more thorough. Not the 1st time that she has taken care of meet. She is an outstanding NP. She definitely is a gem.
NP seemed dismissive of my symptoms. Her bedside manner was very condescending and the visit felt rushed. I felt like she was bothered to see me and only spent about 5-10 mins or so in the room talking to me.

Both support person and Nurse treated me as though i was dealing with "stress" symptoms. It was an insulting way to be treated. I'm a 72 year old professional person; i expect and hope for respect.
