About Sonia Seng, MD
Dr. Seng is the director of the Clinical Trials Program for cancer treatment through which local cancer patients will have access to new and developing treatments. Dr. Seng has extensive experience in clinical research focused on finding new chemotherapy treatments for cancer.
Sonia Seng, MD, earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, N.Y., and completed a residency in internal medicine-pediatrics at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Seng also completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Mount Sinai.
A native of Nicaragua, Dr. Seng performed research on the availability of palliative care for patients with advanced cancers in Managua. She is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Seng is board certified in internal medicine and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Beyond Dr. Seng running late (45 mini minutes) I was made aware of situation and apology was given which I appreciated.Otherwise it was a great appointment with Dr. Seng, her attention to detail, explanation of what to expect going forward and promise of a follow up call to me once she's able to speak further with Dr. [Name] to ensure both doctors are on the same page with my condition and what actions to take next.
