About Michelle Wong DO
Michelle Wong, D.O. earned her medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Greensburg, PA. Having previously spent time in New England as a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and Smith College, following medical school she came back to New England to complete residency in internal medicine at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, MA, where she also served as Chief Internal Medicine Resident. She is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
Dr. Wong has clinical interests in general gastroenterology. Her personal philosophy to practicing medicine is applying evidence-based medicine but with a personalized approach, and customizing society-recommended treatment plans that are unique to each patient’s circumstances and preferences.
In her free time, Dr. Wong enjoys wildlife animal rehabilitation, rowing/coxing, and karaoke.

Dr Wong was very thorough. I feel confident that she is an excellent provider. She asked very pertinent questions concerning my issue. I was, however, not aware until an hour before my appointment that it was going to be Telehealth. That was a bit disappointing. I waited four months for this appointment.
Dr Wong was very thorough. I did not feel rushed and feel like my questions were addressed. While I hadn't seen her in several years, she remembered my case and was very attentive as I caught her up on how I've been feeling since we last spoke.

Support staff or courteous and extremely helpful throughout the entire process i.e. check-in checkout, taking vitals. Physician was well informed and looked at my information before coming in the room. She was not distracted and was focused on establishing me as patient in putting the pieces together in achieving an overall plan/goal for my health. I look forward to working with her.

Dr Wong is amazing. She is very thorough, and never fails to impress me with her knowledge of my medical history. I am getting a little more unexpectedly complicated, but she is always readily available if I have any concerns. I have reached out through MyChart, and she has provided clear guidance when I need it. She is the best!
I was seen very fast and promptly. Dr. Wong was very straightforward and to the point without seeming like she was rushing anything. She explained everything exactly like I need the best possible way. She found an analogy that worked and I understood completely what she was trying to say. Dr Wong reviewed my medical record thoroughly with me to insure that I was aware of risks regarding procedure at my age. We discussed my recent issues and she was explained in detail all of the initiatives that I could take to improve conditions. I left with all of my questions answered and with a clear plan.

I've been to many hospitals and doctors. Dr.Wong is very caring, knowledgeable she even gave me insight on my other health issues. I've had 3 stomach and esphagus surgeries. She changed medication several times until she got the correct one that works for me. She is very determined to get the results I needed. With her help I've lost 45 pounds which helped my liver. She is a remarkable and enthusiastic doctor
