About Jamsheed Vakharia MD
Dr. Vakharia graduated from Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his residency in surgery at the Brown University Medical School and internship at The Miriam Hospital. Previously, he received a Higher Secondary Certification in Premedical Sciences from the Adamjee Government Science College, also in Karachi.
Dr. Vakharia is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University and is a member of the American College of Surgeons. He was voted a “Top Doc” by RI Monthly Magazine from 2002 to 2019.
His clinical interests include robotic surgery.

We then discussed the options, allowing me to ask questions so I felt I fully understood my options. After determining that I understood the issue and options, we made a decision about treatment. Very clear, transparent and collaborative. Extremely pleased.
