About Bruce Brown MD
Dr. Bruce Brown earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from New York University. He then went on to further his medical expertise, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree with honors in medicine from the State University of New York Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn, Down Medical School, where he also completed his internship in Internal Medicine. Following the completion of his internship, Dr. Brown went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at the State University of New York, Downstate in Brooklyn, NY. He then become Chief Medical Resident at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Beach, NJ. Dr. Brown completed his Cardiology fellowship at the Likoff Cardiovascular Institute Hahnemann University Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. During his fellowship he was awarded the Excellence in Clinical Teaching award.
Dr. Brown is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. His clinical interests lie within non-invasive diagnostics, general cardiology, cardiac rhythm management, congestive heart failure, preventative cardiology and cardiac wellness. Dr. Brown’s personal philosophy of care is centered around engaging the patient as a person, and not just as a case or disease. He truly feels that you cannot properly care for a person unless you care about that person. Pairing good intentions with technical excellence can lead to the best possible outcome.
When not at work, Dr. Brown enjoys bicycling, gardening, and playing classical music on the piano.

My appt was on time, the Dr was friendly and informative.

A long wait to be seen.
Better management of time. As I was brought into the exam room and waited for almost 45 minutes for the dr to arrive with no one checking on me or letting me know he was running late.
There seemed to be a mixup in the reason I was there. I thought I was there for one test and Dr. Knew nothing about that. When appointment was made I was told. About test but now must schedule it . It's o.k. everyone was super nice.

Everyone in the office treated me with professional kindness and respect. Everyone also paid attention to my concerns and needs. Dr. Brown especially gave me great news about my heart health and advised me, as well as praised my efforts.

The support staff was excellent at this location. As far as the doctor himself, I tried to explain why I had changed cardiologist to go there and he didn't seem particularly interested in hearing my reasons for changing, which I thought would be important going forward for him to know.

Dr Brown took the time to explain some basics about interpreting an EKG, and, while he assuaged any fears, he is taking great care to set me up for more safeguard testing. Check-in and check-out staff were personable, smiling, and helpful. The aide who hooked me up for EKG was also kind and courteous. Thank you to all!

Efficient service
Dr. Brown delivered the most comprehensive and professional care I have ever received. He listened and advocated for my health and well being at every stage.
My medical issue needed immediate attention and I was scheduled in very quickly. I am so thankful to be a patient in the Southcoast group. Most all of my needs are met, right at Rosebrook. They are always there when I need them and all are so nice to work with.
Everything was fine but I had to wait for Dr Brown for 45 minutes and I wasn't happy about that but he did Apologize
