About Sonia Seng MD
Dr. Seng is the director of the Clinical Trials Program for cancer treatment through which local cancer patients will have access to new and developing treatments. Dr. Seng has extensive experience in clinical research focused on finding new chemotherapy treatments for cancer.
Sonia Seng, MD, earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, N.Y., and completed a residency in internal medicine-pediatrics at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Seng also completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Mount Sinai.
A native of Nicaragua, Dr. Seng performed research on the availability of palliative care for patients with advanced cancers in Managua. She is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Seng is board certified in internal medicine and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Your radiation team is the best…they are kind,caring and all around the best..I can't say enough about this team.The girls are all different and they make me feel special like I'm there number one priority.This group of woman are special when I was going though the worst time in my life they were all there to pull my though with their kind words and caring.When I had questions they would answer them without hesitation.Those woman deserve medals for compensation.There isn't one thing those women could do different in my opinion.

The staff and doctor are highly professional. I have no complaints regarding wait time as there were many very ill persons seeking care. Everyone that I encountered was sincere and caring.I will suggest however, that a fresh coat of bright light paint would do wonders in that dismal, dark, gloomy waiting room on the Second Floor. That's an easy change to effect!
Everything handled really well from check in to check out. My comfort and any questions or concerns were a top priority for my doctor and all staff I saw. Everything done very caring.

I am very fortunate to have a good support team with the doctor's and nurses who have been with me since my diagnosis of cancer in October 2024.
My physician is very good, but spends all her time looking at the computer. I would prefer she goes in already knowing the reason for me being there.

Dr. Seng is a very gifted, compassionate, and an extremely brilliant oncologist. She addressed all my medical issues. The Nurses and her staff were diligent in helping me find referrals for an orthopedic surgeon for some issues in my shoulder area. They are always friendly, professional, kind, and supportive in helping me and my partner navigate the difficult times during stage 4 cancer with bone Metastasis.They are a 5 star oncology center.
No improvement needed. Dr. Sonia Seng is absolutely amazing. I've been a patient with her since she was practicing in the Fairhaven location when she moved to the Fall River location I followed her. She is absolutely amazing, courteous and very knowledgeable.
Over booked appointments.2:30 pm was my appointment.Saw the doctor at 3:50 pm talked for approximately 8 minutes.That was it. She was gone. Went out to front desk made next years apointment. Left building at 4:20pm. I am not good at waiting.
