Specialties and Services

We specialize in integrated rehabilitation for children from birth to age 22. We work with patients facing developmental, orthopedic, and neurological conditions, helping them overcome challenges and gain the skills needed to thrive as they get older. Whether your child is in need of speech therapy, a personalized occupational treatment, or physical therapy program, our team of therapists will prioritize them and make sure they feel at home with us. Our facility features physical therapy gyms, a living skills space, and a Sensory Integration Area, and is also equipped with a wide variety of therapeutic equipment. Our pediatric rehab specialties and services in MA include:

  • Occupational Therapy – helping children meet developmental milestones, feeding and activities of daily living like dressing and bathing, tackle sensory challenges, and improve motor and cognitive skills. Occupational therapy may be recommended if your child has been injured or has a neurological condition.
  • Physical Therapy – focused on assessing, diagnosing, and treating movement-related challenges in infants, children, and adolescents. Through tailored exercises, interventions, and activities, pediatric physical therapists aim to enhance mobility, improve strength, address developmental delays, and optimize functional abilities in young individuals, promoting their overall physical well-being and independence.
  • Speech Therapy – helping children communicate and express themselves more easily. Speech therapy can be beneficial for children with a variety of impairments and can help improve articulation, understanding, and use of language, just to name a few.

At Southcoast Health Pediatric Rehabilitation, we accept most major health insurance plans, including Mass Health. Your child’s primary care physician will need to provide a referral beforehand.
