Laboratory Services

While appointments are still preferred for laboratory services, we are now accepting walk-ins at select locations. See location information below for more details. Please note that appointments are still required for COVID-19 testing and hospital labs.

At Southcoast Health Laboratory Services, we provide full-service testing, including stat/urgent tests, most reference testing, and comprehensive anatomic pathology and cytology services. Specimens are collected at our convenient Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island locations and sent promptly to our local laboratory for fast, accurate results. Our services help you and your physician gain a clear picture of your health and determine the best course of action. We also partner with Quest Diagnostics for additional reference testing.

All Southcoast laboratories are led by board-certified pathologists and fully licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, CMMS, and CAP. Our professional team prioritizes patient comfort and keeps you informed throughout your visit. With easily accessible locations, ample parking, and comfortable waiting areas, we make every step of your laboratory experience convenient and stress-free.
