Shannon Houlihan, FNP-C earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She continued her education and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Regis College of Nursing in Weston, Massachusetts.
Shannon takes a patient-centered, relationship-driven approach to internal medicine, providing comprehensive care for adults with both acute and chronic conditions. She emphasizes education and open communication, believing that informed patients are better partners in their care.
Her practice focuses on listening, understanding each patient’s concerns, and creating personalized treatment plans that match their needs and comfort level. Shannon values primary care medicine for its long-term relationships and the ability to support patients throughout their health journey.

Every employee was kind and curitious, it was my first time at Trusdale and didn't know where to go and everyone i asked was very friendly and helpful.
First visitPeople listened to me, asked questions needed and seemed to care. I have some specific issues/ needs and each was addressed in a manner that had me leaving assured I am on the right path. The one improvement would be to make even more use of the electronic forms. I believe I accepted treatment online but had to sign it again on paper. That might be required, but it seemed duplicative. No big deal though. It was a good experience!
