About Sarah Bednarz NP
Sarah Bednarz, NP, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She then furthered her medical education and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts.
Sarah’s clinical interests center on functional and lifestyle medicine, with a focus on identifying and addressing the root causes of illness rather than treating symptoms alone. Her philosophy of care is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to uncovering the underlying factors that influence health, whether they stem from lifestyle, chronic stress, or systemic barriers to care.
Early in her career, Sarah noticed that many health challenges were chronic or preventable yet often treated only at the surface. This inspired her to become a nurse practitioner, so that she could build strong relationships, create personalized strategies, and promote lasting wellness with her patients.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga and Pilates, skiing, traveling and relaxing at the beach.

Great doctors, great office. Just wish you had better parking for handicapped spaces.
I have been seeing Dr merport and other providers at Southcoast internal medicine. Communication is always fast and I am able to get in to see my doc or other provider in a timely manner. I feel they care about my health
This provider saw me for under 5 mins and sent me home when I'm dealing with circulation issues and concerning symptoms I've never had before

Dr.s need Read more into there patients information before going into the room with there patients so they aren't asking all the questions over again ? it's kinda annoying!

I went in for a sick visit. Sarah was professional and extremely knowledgeable. Diagnostic testing was ordered stat. I received a date roughly 6 weeks out. This was out of Sarah's hands.
I called on a sick visit and received an appointment the very next morning Sarah was very professional. Reviewed the history possibilities and handled the situation great.

I was very pleased with the provider that I saw, the nurse practitioner. I believe this was the second time I had seen her. She listened to my concerns. She seemed knowledgeable about how to deal with the concerns, the medication to be prescribed, how I should take care of myself from here on forward. And she did not rush the meeting at all. She listened carefully and she seemed to take it all in. So I was pleased with her as I have been before.

The experience was exactly what I expected to receive, it was well organized, and it was very informative, with positive feedback from, Sarah and she gave me some good ideas on what I should be doing to monitor my blood pressure. Such as avoiding processed foods. Overall it was a good experience.
