About Rose Shorter MD
Dr. Rose Shorter completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. Dr. Rose then continued her medical expertise earning her Doctorate’s degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, New York. She then finished her residency at Bay State Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. She is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Shorter was inspired to become a physician with the desire to be of service to the world and the drive to understand how and why things work. She says patients who have suffered incredible loss, pain and unthinkable challenges and still show up to their life bravely asking, what is next, also inspire her.
Outside of work, Dr. Shorter is passionate about raising her family, running, reading, cooking and playing the saxophone.

Excellent service! Blood lab is AMAZING! Always treated well here! Making appointments here is excellent! They try to make it convenient for me as I am traveling a good distance.
i really like dr. shorter i personally am not comfortable with her talking to ai during the appointment and would prefer for her to answer questions on her own so that is something i would like to not happen.
Dr. Shorter addressed all my outstanding health issues. She also noted some test results that will need to be monitored subsequently. She also set up referrals for specialists to resolve some outstanding concerns.
All the help in the office is great and Dr. Rose Shorter is the best.

Time-wise, courtesy, making you feel comfortable, explaining things well. I absolutely love Dr. Shorter. If she moved away another 50 miles, I would still drive that far to have her take care of me. And as I said, the rest of the staff, absolutely fantastic.

My only issue was that I had to wait almost an hour to see my physician past my appointment time causing me to reschedule another meeting. She did apologize and this was an unusual occurrence for my experiences here. Even running late she did take ample time with me to answer all of my questions and I never felt rushed.
