About Ramin Davoudi MD
Dr. Davoudi is the Medical Director of Southcoast Arrhythmia Services, staff electrophysiologist and cardiologist with Southcoast Health.
He received his medical degree from the New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. He then completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Davoudi also completed fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiac electrophysiology at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Mass.
Dr. Davoudi is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, cardiac electrophysiology and internal medicine. He specializes in atrial fibrillation ablation and complex ablations.

I love Dr. Davoudi, he is one of the best EP doctors I have ever had. He's not willing to take unnecessary risks and he listens to me. Everyone in that office is sympathetic and empathizes with my very difficult medical history! I wouldn't want anyone else dealing with my ep issues!
It is always a pleasure, the staff is wonderful and well informed.
As a new patient I was hoping the visit would take 30 minutes. Waited in the exam room 20 minutes for the doctor and he only spent 10 minutes for the consultation.I felt I was being rushed.
listened to my concerns
I waited over 45 minutes before the doctor was able to see me. I attribute this to him being busy with other patients other than that the visit was competent and professional. The anomaly in my heart readings was only vaguely explained, but enough for me to accept it.
Dr Davoudi patiently listened to all of my concerns and provided me with all the information I needed to make an informed decision regarding my health.

Everything thing was done with care and understanding.
Dr. Davoudi met me very quickly, less than five minutes after I entered his office. He obviously knew my background and everything, so I was very pleased with that. He answered all my questions, and he made some recommendations that I think will be very healthy for my heart health.

Dr Davoudi is always pleasant polite and knowledgeable he takes the time to listen to my concerns and then explains things in an easy to understand way. I always leave with all my questions and concerns answered.
The provider answered all my questions and was pretty much up-to-date on all of my recent medical issues and was glad to answer any questions and show me certain websites that would help answer some questions as well related to the procedure and further information.
Because the doctor pays close attention to everything you say, and is very nolegable about your problems and treats you like a family member and not just a number.

I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Davoudi to a friend or family member. When I was diagnosed with AFib, he, my wife and I discussed options for treatment. His recommendation resulted in my being placed on Tikosyn, which, today, I described for him as a miracle drug. I highly respect both him and his judgment.
