Rachael Bednarz-Medeiros, DO earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She obtained her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME. Dr. Bednarz-Medeiros completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Kent Hospital/Brown University in Warwick, RI.
With a deep-rooted commitment to patient advocacy, she strives to provide compassionate, whole-person care that goes beyond treating medical conditions — care that uplifts, supports, and empowers individuals to take charge of their health. Always use Southcoast Specialists which are all great but unable to get a primary care physician due to high volume, however I went to an appt. And was told to go see if a new primary was taking new patients and they accepted me. Was impressed they fit me in so quickly. Always have used Southcoast and always will.

Everyone and everything was great at my visit. I was delayed for my appointment, because the parking area at my home was late to be plowed. I was still able to be seen, spend sufficient time with the doctor (first visit), and get my bloodwork done.

The whole first experience with this office today was exceptional, from the front office check-in to the receptionist at checkout!
