About Patrick Fei MD
Patrick Fei, MD has joined Southcoast Physicians Group General Surgery. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, N.Y. Dr. Fei also completed a fellowship in minimally invasive bariatric surgery at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Penn.
While training at the Staten Island University Hospital, Dr. Fei was honored as Intern of the Year, a Citizenship Award, the Team Six Award and a Service Excellence Award. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
Dr. Fei has a special interest in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery. He is fluent in Cantonese Chinese. He is a competitive swimmer and in addition to playing the guitar, violin, piano and ukulele, he also enjoys singing and songwriting.

Dr.Fei is an excellent surgeon and my surgery at Charlton Memorial under his care went exceptionally well, far exceeding my expectations. Today's visit was my post-op follow up and he was knowledgeable but also very open to my concerns and questions. I would recommend him and his team to anyone needing his expertise.

You could have had the person call me sooner with the appointment and I wouldn't have had to call two days in a row several times. That's all.

Dr.Fei was professional and clearly explained to me about my condition, a hernia, and how he would fix it surgically. He took the time to listen to my concerns. The staff at check-in and checkout as well as the technician who took my vitals were all very professional.

VERY MUCH SATISFIED WITH THE TIME THE DOCTOR SPENT LISTING TO MY SYMPTOMS.. BEFORE GOING INTO A MINOR PROCEEDURE, GIVING ME SOME OPTIONS THAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE HELPFUL. HE DID NOT HESITATE TO TELL ME IF IT DOESNT HELP TO CALL HIM AND WE CAN GO FROM THERE. HE IN MY OPINION IS ONE OF THE BEST DOCTORS OUT THERE, NO RUSHING YOU IN AND OUT.
