About Michael Langworthy MD
Dr. Langworthy earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is fellowship trained in adult pelvis and major joint reconstruction at the University of California, San Diego.
A leading advisor on arthritic joint disease to the US military, Dr. Langworthy holds a clinical faculty appointment at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. He is a current Director of Advanced Trauma Life Support for the US Navy and has published numerous papers and spoken around the world on cartilage and osteoarthritis.
Dr. Langworthy was honored as one of the Top 100 Health Care Professionals of the world in 2013 and is board certified in orthopedic surgery.

I saw Dr, Langworthy, he already performed 3 surgeries on me in the past 2 years, I am extremely happy with the results, especially my right hip surgery, I forgot that surgery never existed, is that good.

The doctor came and went in less than 4 minutes.I was rushed and wasn't able to ask him all the questions I had.At the same time the doctor was very nice.

Friendly staff. Comfortable atmosphere
The o.v. moved along pretty well. I didn't have to wait long at all. This was my first time with this doctor. He talked and moved along quickly. I didn't realize until I got home that he did not review results from the x-rays done when I first arrived, before seeing the doctor. He seemed to be paying attention when I spoke of my injuries and the areas of pain, but I did feel rushed through the appointment.
I would recommend Dr. Langworthy to anybody. He's the best doctor of all. And I am very satisfied with his service. Thank you. God bless you.

I called to make an appointment and got one immediately that week. When I arrived for my appointment, the receptionist was most cordial and helpful. Dr. Langworthy met with me a few minutes before my appointment. Very satisfied with the service all the way around.
This patient felt there was no conversation about medical procedure( just a booklet of as given to read). Also no recommendations or conversation as to deal with current pain.Patient felt rushed during the office visit

Call center needs improvement. Never get connected directly to provider office. If needed answers and speak to office mgr. re; procedure/code, had to meet her when physically at appt. Call center places pt. on hold and they speak to the office instead.

As always Dr Langworthy is amazing! He knows his stuff ! He actually listens to you , he fully examines you . He felt and heard my groin clicking and grinding which I have been c/o. He fully reviewed and discussed my mri with me in detail , and noted the large labral tear which is also causing me a great deal of pain. If I could give ten stars I would . His office staff, along with the MA , and nurse were amazing as well.
