About Michael Grossman
Dr. Grossman completed his medical degree at UCLA School of Medicine and his general surgery residency at the University of Utah, in Salt Lake City. Previously, he graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
Dr. Grossman was a Trauma and Surgical Critical Care Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, in Philadelphia, and a professor of surgery at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University, in Hempstead, N.Y. He previously served as the Chief of Surgical Critical Care at Southside Hospital/Northwell, in Bayshore, N.Y. and the Chief of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at Southside Hospital/Northwell Health.
Dr. Grossman is certified by the American Board of Surgery with added qualifications in Surgical Critical Care.
He is member in the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma and the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma and is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons.
