About Maryanne Noris MD
Dr. Noris is a cardiologist who has practiced at Charlton Memorial Hospital for more than 15 years.
A graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine, she completed a residency in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and a fellowship in cardiology at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa.
Before joining Southcoast, Dr. Noris was a cardiologist at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, R.I., where she served as director of the Echocardiography Lab.
She has a special interest in heart disease in women.
Dr. Noris is board certified in cardiology.

Dr Norris should be used as the gold standard for doctors. She not only has a wonderful "bedside manner" but also has very practical suggestions to help with medical problems and explains very clearly details about your medical problems. She is also very knowledgeable analyzing medical problems so an appointment with Dr. Norris is time well spent.

Overall it was a very good visit. I had to wait nearly half an hour in the waiting room which is quite unusual for this office. But I didn't want long in the room where I was taken. But the meeting with the doctor was excellent and productive.
Except for the wait time, the experience was satisfactory, aalthough I would call it a consultation.
