About Maryanne Noris MD
Dr. Noris is a cardiologist who has practiced at Charlton Memorial Hospital for more than 15 years.
A graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine, she completed a residency in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and a fellowship in cardiology at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa.
Before joining Southcoast, Dr. Noris was a cardiologist at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, R.I., where she served as director of the Echocardiography Lab.
She has a special interest in heart disease in women.
Dr. Noris is board certified in cardiology.

Dr Norris should be used as the gold standard for doctors. She not only has a wonderful "bedside manner" but also has very practical suggestions to help with medical problems and explains very clearly details about your medical problems. Overall it was a very good visit. I had to wait nearly half an hour in the waiting room which is quite unusual for this office. But I didn't want long in the room where I was taken. But the meeting with the doctor was excellent and productive.
Except for the wait time, the experience was satisfactory, aalthough I would call it a consultation.
